For the last game of the season (championship game) the fat lady had already sung. At least in points. Again, some how, I prevailed. I used every drop of luck I could muster up. 'BOOTY4LIFE' made a late run at me only to come up short. He did take 2nd. 'HawkMD57' was my main competition the entire contest. There was one week end where he was in 1st place. He took 3rd for his efforts. On the bottom end of the contest, 'ORNGE 21' just couldn't quite get it together to get out of the cellar. There were a couple of times he was close, but no cigar. Sometime doing the progressive points can fuck ya. 2nd to last was 'M'Town'. Before the final game, he was respectable. But it all went to shit. He had the correct team predicted, just not enough points. 3rd to last went to 'Sunshine'. I think his brother had to big of an influence on him this contest. It took the last game for me to have the most correct points. Thank god 'Rook's Picks' took Clemson in the last game. He was the only one that did. That is what I mean by using every drop of luck I could find. There were 3 who had 28 right. 'BOOTY4LIFE', 'HawkMD57' and 'Hawkinator'. On the bottom end of the correct picks, 'ORNGE 21' was last with 23. Down there with him was 'Matthawk' and 'TheLoneClone'. The difference between top and bottom was only 7, but it made a big difference. It looks like lightening struck twice. I am sure it will never happen again. Not only that, I am sure that next year the bottom three is my destiny in both contests.
